$1,000 tuition scholarship CONTEST for use at the winner’sCatholic school for this school year

Topic Question: How does Abraham help us to know what itmeans to be a father?

To answer the contest question, students are invited to:

* create an 8”x 11.5” artistic poster OR

* write an essay.

As you respond to the contest question with a drawing or anessay, please reflect on your own experiences of the witness ofGod’s fatherhood.

Who has been a witness to you of faith, fatherhood, and thepromises of God being fulfilled?

A panel of judges will use the rubrics (to be provided on ourwebsite, link to follow) to choose the Grand Prize Winner ($1,000tuition scholarship for use at the winner’s Catholic school for thisschool year) for each grade band (Grades 1-5; 6-8) and four runnerups.

The Grand Prize Winners and runner ups will be invited to receivetheir prizes and congratulations on stage from the President of theNew York Encounter during this year’s New York Encounter onJanuary 12-14, 2018 at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City.

Student work will also be displayed in an art gallery at the NewYork Encounter.
