Meet the Teacher:
My name is Sarah Yannaco and I’m the 2nd grade teacher at Our Lady of Victory School. I was born and raised in Westchester, New York. I attended school both at St. Joseph’s in Bronxville and Eastchester School District. I obtained my Masters in Teaching from Iona College and I’m certified in Childhood Education 1-6. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, and finding ways to volunteer.
I began teaching at OLV in 2017. Over the last several years, I have had the opportunity to take on various teaching roles in schools throughout New York City and Westchester. Most recently, I taught 5th Grade in Queens and 3rd Grade in New Rochelle. My experiences have allowed me to learn and grow as an educator.
Welcome to 2nd grade!
I look forward to teaching your children and watching them grow as learners.
My classroom is a place of respect for ourselves, our classmates, and our school.
In 2nd grade, students learn Religion, ELA, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
Religion: Sadlier We Believe curriculum focuses on the seven sacraments, the celebration of the Mass, prayer, The Ten Commandments, and Holy Days.
