"A book is a gift you can open again and again"

"Reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are"
Mason Cooley
Welcome to the Raho Library at OLV! My name is Jennifer Corlieto and I am so excited to be the new library teacher! I have been a part of the OLV family for the last 6 years and I am very eager to begin this new journey with everyone, especially all of the great students here at OLV. I attended The College of New Rochelle and have my Bachelor's degree in English and my Master's degree in Science for Childhood Education grades 1-6. In my free time, I love to read, write in my journal (I have had a journal since I was 12 years old), spend time with my husband and my little girl (who is also an OLV student!), and take care of my cats, as I am a huge animal lover.
As the new library teacher, my goal is to create a positive, engaging, learning environment where students feel comfortable sharing their passion and love for reading. The library will be a place where students will learn how to find and use resources, become aware of the research process, and grow to love and appreciate literature navigating through different genres, authors, and books.
