Meet the Teacher Aide:

My name is Maria Diaz, this will be my 2 nd year apart of the OLV family. I have been working with children for over 5 years. I look forward to supporting the children with their everyday needs and academics along the way!

Curriculum :

The curriculum used in Prek-3 is Frog Street Threes! This program was specifically designed for learners at the age of 3. There are 9 units that are implemented during the school year including various
themes that pertain to our everyday lives such as; Awesome Me, My Family and Friends, Safe and Healthy, My School, Things that move, and much more!

Learning through these topics will help our young minds navigate their daily tasks. Our Pre-k students learn through a center-based atmosphere. Our schedule includes two times for center time play, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. The classroom is equipped with centers such as ;
Blocks, Art, Technology, Writing, Kitchen, Science, Library, and Math. During this time students will be able to explore and engage in our weekly themes emphasized in our learn through play environment.
